OUR ACCREDITATIONS
ACCREDIA
The SMT materials testing laboratory is accredited under Testing No. 00588 in accordance with UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 by Accredia, the single national accreditation body designated by the Italian government. This accreditation complies with European Regulation 765/2008 and attests to the competence, independence and impartiality of certification, inspection and verification bodies, as well as testing and calibration laboratories. Accredia is a recognised non-profit association operating under the supervision of MISE (the Italian Ministry of Economic Development).
NADCAP
Il laboratorio prove materiali SMT ha conseguito l’accreditamento Nadcap (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) accreditation for Materials Testing Laboratories, managed by PRI (the Performance Review Institute). Nadcap is the world’s leading accreditation programme for the aerospace and defence supply chain: it was established through the collaboration of the sector’s major prime contractors, who require it of their suppliers as a guarantee of processes under control and reliable results. The accreditation (certificate no. 16843240502) attests to the laboratory’s competence in performing chemical analysis by optical emission spectrometry (S/A–OES, Fe base), tensile testing at room temperature, metallographic examination, grain size determination and specimen preparation, in accordance with the Nadcap AC7101 series audit criteria.
FIE
The SMT testing laboratory is accredited by the Fédération Internationale d’Escrime (FIE) as a certified laboratory. This recognition is granted through the SEMI Commission, which is responsible for certifying all equipment used in the world of fencing. FIE accreditation guarantees that the laboratory meets rigorous international standards of quality and reliability, thereby contributing to the safety and excellence of the equipment used in this sport.
